Video Content Policy

Hey! If you're a creator who wants to make videos featuring our apps — gameplay, reviews, reactions, tutorials, kids enjoying the app, anything in that spirit — we're genuinely happy about that. This page explains what you can do without asking, and what needs a quick email first.

DOTBAKE Inc. ("DOTBAKE", "we") publishes mobile apps on the App Store, Google Play, and other platforms (the "Apps"). By publishing any audiovisual recording of an App, you agree to this Policy.

What you can do, no permission needed

You're free to record, publish, and monetise videos of our Apps — royalty-free, no attribution required, no need to write to us first — as long as all of these are true:

Gameplay videos, walkthroughs, reviews, reactions, tutorials, short-form clips, screenshots, "my kid plays..." vlogs — all good. Use our app names and "DOTBAKE" freely in titles and descriptions. Links to our App Store / Google Play listings in descriptions are very welcome.

What needs a quick email first

Drop us a line at legal@dotbake.com before you publish if you're planning to:

(a) Show paid content — anything locked behind a subscription, in-app purchase, promo code, or other paid access. Premium features, paid characters, seasonal events available only to subscribers, cosmetic content, expansions, that kind of thing.

(b) Make a long-form or compilation video designed to be watched instead of using the App itself — multi-hour playlists, "full experience" videos, content optimised for passive viewing as a substitute.

(c) Use our music, narration, sound effects, illustrations, or characters as standalone assets — uploading our soundtracks as standalone audio releases on Spotify or similar, making merch or prints, NFTs, sampling or remixing our music.

(d) Use the App in something more commercial than ads — paid sponsorships with our App as the main subject, paid subscription tiers on Patreon/courses/Discord that feature our content, advertising for third-party products, selling or sublicensing your recordings.

(e) Imply we're partnered when we're not — stating or hinting at endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with DOTBAKE in your channel, account, or content without a written agreement. Same goes for using our name or App names as a channel name or domain in a way that confuses viewers.

(f) Use our content while running a competing product.

(g) Reupload or mirror someone else's video of our Apps.

For licensing, write to legal@dotbake.com with: which App(s), your channel/platform URL, what you're planning, audience size, and how you'll monetise it. We answer within 5 business days. Non-exclusive licences are routinely granted — often free for small creators or non-commercial use, revenue-share or fixed-fee for larger commercial use.

Licences are granted only by written agreement signed by DOTBAKE. Casual exchanges in DMs, comments, support emails, or App Store reviews don't count as a licence.

If you've already published something that crosses the line

Write to legal@dotbake.com before we find it ourselves. Self-reported issues get resolved on much easier terms — usually just edit or remove the part in question, no money involved — compared to what happens when we find them through monitoring.

Enforcement

We take this seriously and we monitor for misuse. Content that breaches this Policy is subject to:

DOTBAKE's copyrights are protected in all 184 countries party to the Berne Convention and the WIPO Copyright Treaty. US judgments are enforceable in other jurisdictions through recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. Nationality, country of residence, channel anonymity, and use of privacy email providers, VPNs, or anonymisation services don't place a publisher beyond the reach of these procedures.

This Policy is published as a standing grant of limited permission for the uses described above. Our rights in the Apps and their content exist by operation of copyright law (US, UK, and applicable foreign law) and the Berne Convention independently of this Policy, and apply regardless of whether this Policy was in effect at the time of any particular use.

A few more things

This Policy grants only the specific permissions in the "What you can do" section. All other rights are reserved. A failure or delay by us to enforce against any particular content or publisher doesn't waive our rights anywhere else. We can revoke permissions for any specific publisher, content item, or App by written notice to legal@dotbake.com.

Governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and applicable US federal law. Disputes may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction at our election.
